- Jay Cutler passed for two touchdowns, ran for a third and became the first Bears quarterback since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970 to post a passer rating of at least 100 in three straight games, according to the Chicago Bears. However, Pro-Football Reference.com claims Jim McMahon in 1984, had 3 straight games with 100+ passer rating. Cutler could be the first in Bears history to do so because Elias has game-by-game data that dates back to 1970.

- Browns Rookie Wide Receiver Mohammed Massaquoi had 8 catches for 148 yards vs. the Bengals yesterday. The rest of the Browns receivers had 18 catches for 121 yards. Braylon Edwards has 10 catches for 139 yards this season.

- Peyton Manning reached two milestones Sunday. Manning threw a TD pass to Reggie Wayne, the 55th time those two have connected for a TD. Manning joins Dan Marino as the only Quarterbacks to throw at least 55 TD to two separate receivers. Also, Peyton Manning ties Fran Tarkenton for 3rd most TD passes (342) of all-time.

Another quarterback won the Comeback Player of the Year Award for the second time in his career. That’s right, the Patriots did not win the AFC East last season. They didn’t even make the playoffs in 2008. Chad Pennington and the Dolphins took full advantage of Tom Brady’s injury and went 11-5. The Pats, who also went 11-5, lost the tie-breaker to the Dolphins and finished in 2nd place. Even though Tom Brady went down early, Matt Cassel stepped in and played his way to a big contract with the Chiefs. Behind Brett Favre, the Jets looked strong early but went only 1-4 down the stretch. The Jets finished 9-7, but were only able to finish 3rd in the division. The Bills started strong as well, but couldn’t manage a win in their own division. Despite the struggle within the division, the Bills still managed to win 7 games. The Pats dynasty may have lost the battle last season, but the war is far from over. Can the Patriots reclaim the division title, or will Chad Pennington lead the Dolphins to glory again?
