Week two is just about in the books, Drew Brees already has 9 touchdowns, and the Jets are the real deal. Week 2 can be a very interesting week in the NFL season. Since we, as fans, only have one game to base our perceptions on, some teams can be drastically overrated or vastly underrated. Teams that don’t look all that impressive, but win (Packers, Patriots) can show their true colors. However, teams that play well but lose in week one (Bengals, Raiders) can show that they deserve some more respect. In case you missed it, let’s recap some of the big stories from Sunday.

In the past few days, both Shaun Hill and Mark Sanchez have won their respective battles at QB. While both players will be given their first chance to play an entire season in the NFL, all the talk is about Mark Sanchez in New York. Sanchez Will Have his Chance Tonight

The NFL pre-season has reached the halfway point. After tonight, every team in the NFL will have played two pre-season games. Tonight’s game, however, is an important one for rookie QB Mark Sanchez. Sanchez will get his first start of the pre-season against one of the toughest defenses in the NFL. A good showing by Sanchez could mean that he’s the guy for the New York Jets this season. A poor start, and the QB competition continues. With tonight being an important night for the young signal caller, let’s take a look at some of the other QB battles in the NFL.
